I initially stopped crafting because I took ill then, I discovered I was pregnant and then, I was a new mum with a bouncing baby boy. Crafting was low on a very long list of priorities. Eventually (nearly three years later) I decided to try my hand at crafting again and discovered I couldn't. I had an entire room full of stash but, had literally no clue what to do with any of it. So I tackled it the same way I tackle most problems - I checked the internet. I began visiting craft sites again hoping inspiration would strike.
I'm not sure how I arrived there but, one day not that long ago I discovered this site. Lou is so talented - l absolutely love her style. I was on her site for hours reading her past posts and admiring her cards. This card in particular caught my eye.
Now didn't someone once say that, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. ia hope so because I decided to try to create my own version of this card, without buying any more stash (since I have no idea what I actually have)
Mine is nowhere near as nice as Lou's. In fact mine has ended up looking a bit old fashioned, but all in all I'm quite pleased with the result. The picture is rubbish - I blame the bad light and rubbish photographer, aka me. The sentiment looks better in real life but, its not bad for a first attempt after taking an extended break, even if I do say so myself. ☺

Welcome to my little, and often neglected blog. Given the choice between writing my own post or reading one of yours, all too often your post wins. So when I do manage to put something together and you take the time to read it, it means a lot. When you take the time to comment it really makes my day. So thank you for visiting, and for any and all feedback you leave. xx
